 Does this sculpture look familiar?
Yes, it's my billboard!
This artwork was created by using a mirror image of my sculpture
"After the Plunge"

Thanks to the fabulous organization, ArtPop Street Gallery
which gives opportunities to artists that go way beyond the billboard. This award provides over $150,000 worth of advertising. ArtPop produces shows where our art work is for sale, workshops for learning the business of art and helping artists become visible and active in their community.

You can see this billboard of my sculpture at 900 Tyvola right behind the Morningstar Storage building in Charlotte, North Carolina at Tyvola between Route 77 and Old Pineville Road.

And a digital billboard of this same image will be at every charging station in the Charlotte-Douglas Airport, Charlotte, NC for the month of April.

Also this image will appear on the Digital Media Billboard Advertising at Regal Cinemas in Ballantyne, North Carolina by Awedience.
This artwork was created by using a mirror image of my sculpture,
"After the Plunge"

And there’s more…a copy of my billboard will appear at the uptown newsstand on Tryon right in front of the Ivey Hotel, Charlotte, NC

New Re-created Randy's Website:

I am certainly excited to announce my "Bonsai", carved and painted wood has been accepted into the Ekphrastic Competition. Poets will create original compositions inspired by the artwork in the exhibition.
Located in New Bern, North Carolina, USA, this beautiful building, once a bank is now the Craven Arts Council and Gallery.   All the art in the exhibition was put in the vaults for safety before Hurricane Florence. Amazingly this building was not affected by the storm .The show is up through the month of October. A catalog of the show including the poetry will be available for purchase soon.

I am honored to have my work "Out of the Blue" accepted into the Work in Wood exhibition in New Hope, Pennsylvania -
Works in Wood honors the rich cultural heritage of Bucks County woodworking while celebrating the new visions of the contemporary artists who reside in our region and beyond. As a national juried show, Works in Wood features artwork from the finest talent in the country today. Works are not limited by function but must be original in design and artists must incorporate at least 50% of wood in each piece. The annual exhibition features functional and non-functional works, studio furniture, turnings, constructions, sculpture and vessels in which artists use wood as their primary medium.

Something to smile about...
I am pleased to introduce: "Personality Traits
With names like Lovey, Modesty, Belligerent, Loyalty I actually giggled while I painted! Personality Traits are acrylic, ink and graphite on carved plywood. Each is sealed with a poly-acrylic finish.

When my young nephews visited my studio we started playing with the scrap wood. We had so much fun I decided to follow through with our creative ideas.

A sampling of our guest artists' art work....coming soon.
Looking forward to showing you around
